Kingdom 101: The Essence of a Kingdom and Its King
The most important individual in the Kingdom is the King. Whenever He speaks, His Word is law. It is sovereign. Our priority should always be to the King's command--His Word. You must understand that the greatest secret of living effectively while on this planet earth is reading and studying (consuming) the King's Constitution (the Bible). They say "you are what you eat" and when you consume His Word you become more like Him and are a walking, talking example of kingdom living. The ambassador Paul stated this to young ambassador Timothy in his letter: Remind them of these things, charging them before the Lord not to strive about words to no profit, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. It is very urgent that we as Kingdom citizens study God's Constitution day and night. Remember the King and His Word are one. Having said that, you and your word are one. Your word should always be your bond. Always honor your word when you give it.
As I have stated before, the essence of a kingdom is property. Owning land is the validation of a king. If you are born again of His Spirit, then you definitely belong to King Jesus. In other words, you are his property. Keep this thought in mind: He gave His life for you. The Lord did something that He never had done. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. The Lord God is the creator and King of the earth. In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. That makes him King of all the earth. For the Lord Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. Keep in mind that land and property gives Him the right to claim Kingship. That isn't counting the fact that He is our Source, for He created us. Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.
My question to you is this, Do you know why we call the Lord God "Lord"? Because He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is the landlord of planet earth and all that is within it. Remember, the very first thing that the Lord created was property. The earth was created for mankind. It was formed because it was necessary in order for man to dominate and rule. But man wasn't created to rule over one another, only the animals.
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die. Notice that the Lord God gave the command to Adam. Eve wasn't created as of yet. The mandate of the Lord to Adam was that he would be king and ruler over His property. Every king must have territory. We who are filled with His Spirit are His children and territory.
