December--Week Fifty-Two
Article: God's Plan for Developing the Family
- A father's responsibility is to plan, prepare, plant and protect that which the Lord God has placed in his charge. And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food...Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” NKJV Genesis 1:29 & 2:15-17
- A father who is led by the Holy Spirit develops his family and has a plan for their orderly growth: physically, intellectually, emotionally and most of all, spiritually. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. John 15:7-8
- Fathers develop fathers. A man learns how to father from a father. A father matures in fatherhood by leaning on the Lord God and His Word. Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Psalm 119:11 NKVJ...The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him. Proverbs 23:24 NIV...The godly walk with integrity; blessed are their children who follow them. Proverbs 20:7 ...As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him. Psalm 103:13 NIV

Article: We Represent the King and His Kingdom
- Those who have been born again through the Spirit of the Lord God are representatives of His Kingdom government. Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us. So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Ephesians 2:18-19
- It is our responsibility to be filled with the Holy Spirit (our Governor) and represent the King, our Lord and Savior. We are to be examples in all of our behavior. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
Let there be no sexual immorality, impurity, or greed among you. Such sins have no place among God’s people. Obscene stories, foolish talk, and coarse jokes—these are not for you. Instead, let there be thankfulness to God. You can be sure that no immoral, impure, or greedy person will inherit the Kingdom of Christ and of God. For a greedy person is an idolater, worshiping the things of this world. Ephesians 5:1-5
- Our lifestyle should be as such that we are able to state as ambassador Paul said: And you should imitate me, just as I imitate Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:1

Article: Kingdom Knowledge: His Enduring Word
- Jesus the Christ was the Word made flesh. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1:14 NKJV
- To say that you love the Lord Jesus but refuse to live by His Word, would be to live a lie. “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever-- the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.” John 14:15-17 NLJV
- Whoever believes in the Word will have everlasting life. “For this is how God loved the world: He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent His Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17

Article: When is it Time to Praise the Lord God?
- You don't need a special reason to praise the Lord God. I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak His praises. Psalm 34:1
- Remember every moment of every day is a suitable time for praising the Lord God. Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; praise Him in his mighty heaven! Praise Him for His mighty works; praise his unequaled greatness! Praise Him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise Him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise Him with strings and flutes! Praise Him with a clash of cymbals; praise Him with loud clanging cymbals. Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord! Psalm 150:1-6
- A lifestyle of praise teaches you to see and trust the Lord God's work in your life. Shout joyful praises to God, all the earth! Sing about the glory of His name! Tell the world how glorious He is. Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds! Your enemies cringe before your mighty power. Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs.” Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles He performs for people! Psalm 66:1-5

Article: His Priceless Gift to Mankind
- The Lord Jesus always referred to the Holy Spirit as a "He", not an "it" or "thing". He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:17
- We are called and anointed to do even greater things than Jesus did while He was here on earth, because He has gone to be with the Father, given us the Holy Spirit to be in us and He intercedes on our behalf. I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in My name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it! John 14:12-14
- The Holy Spirit is referred to as the Governor because He governs those who are filled with the Spirit of the Lord God. I am telling you these things now while I am still with you. But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—He will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you. I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:25-27
