His Kingdom is Here
While the Lord Jesus was here on earth, He operated from His Kingdom government. And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. NKJV
What we refer to as miracles is in reality the Kingdom of Heaven in operation. Those of us that are filled with the Governor (the Holy Spirit) and show signs of His power operating in our mortal bodies, show signs of the Kingdom of God living and operating here on the earth. Read the words of our King Jesus here: “If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.” The Lord Jesus made that statement and He cannot lie.
Those who are filled with His Spirit are witnesses of the Kingdom of Heaven being here on this earth. That is because we live by the King’s Word. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” NKJV That is very clear—if you love Him, you will obey His Word. His Word will change your behavior and your lifestyle. The Father and son will take up residence with that individual. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. NKJV
Now let’s talk about the importance of the Kingdom message and how it affects His return. Read what the Lord Jesus said: And this gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. NKJV If that be the case, His return is based on our obedience. Would you say then, that preachers who aren’t preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God as Jesus taught are hindering His return?! They are preaching their own message. Many preach and teach about being blessed and successful, about purpose and prosperity. But they don’t teach that our first priority is to seek His Kingdom. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. NKJV
Let me make this perfectly clear: Those who have the Holy Spirit have the Kingdom within you!
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the Kingdom of God is within you.”
Many religious people are waiting for the Kingdom to come, but King Jesus made it very plain that the Kingdom is in you. That is just what He told those religious leaders! He was speaking of the Holy Spirit. He would be with you and in you once you embrace King Jesus and His message. Believing in King Jesus is the only way you can enter into the Kingdom government. For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. When you have a Kingdom mindset and your priority is the Kingdom government, here is your attitude:
That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?
And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are. And if God cares so wonderfully for wildflowers that are here today and thrown into the fire tomorrow, he will certainly care for you. Why do you have so little faith?
So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today.
Always have faith and put your trust in your King and His government, because He lives within you. If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. Those are our King’s Words and as you know, He cannot lie. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God—who does not lie—promised them before the world began.
Remember, your faith in the King is your most valuable asset.
