Character Is the Foundation of Kingdom Leadership
Character is so important in the business world. Especially among those of us who claim to know and have a relationship with King Jesus. character establishes and strengthens your inner life so that you are a person of integrity and honor. Remember what God's Constitution states through King Solomon in the book of Proverbs: "Better is the poor who walks in his integrity, than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich".
Keep in mind, character enables you to effectively fulfill your purpose and potential. Character also protects your leadership and your vision, preventing you from revealing them prematurely and enabling you to leave a legacy for your own generation and future generations. Good character is very important for leadership. Your family, community and nation need you to be a leader of principles. Guard your character by prizing it as "better than silver or gold". Learn the theories and practical skills of leadership, but first establish values and ethics that will free you from moral hindrances and empower you to carry out your singular purpose in this life.
Your character is key to training your family and building a solid community. We need more fathers with strong character and leadership skills. Remember what God's constitution states: And you fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
The question I suppose for many is how to be restored after a failure in character? The answer is always to return to the one who created you--Your Source.
Proverbs 28:6 Ephesians 6:4
