Stay on Course, Ready for Anything
As I read and study God's Constitution, I am learning that effective management is what will determine the amount of my resources. So I will share this information with you. If you are a good manager, and obey God's principles, it will not matter what kind of crisis comes your way; you will be ready. You will be ready to weather any crisis, even if some of the resources disappear. You will have a savings account to tide you over in case you lose your job. You will know how to consider carefully whether or not you can afford to spend money right now.
There are times when I like to quote a verse in God's Constitution: A good man leaves an inheritance to his children's children. But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous. At one time I used to gloss over the second part of that proverb: "but a sinner's wealth is stored up for the righteous" because I was not quite sure what to do with it. Now I realize that the Lord gave it to them. Why would He give it to them instead of the righteous? Because they managed it better. He gives resources to those who manage well. Even if they are unbelievers. If you don't believe me, look around.
Keep in mind, the money will not come to you as you stand there saying, "Money, come!" It will not come to you by your binding or loosing anything. You may have been praying to no avail for twenty years for additional monetary resources and still do not have a thing to show for it except sore knees. The resources do not come by prayer, even if the prayer is long and loud and sincere; the resources come through prayers in addition to good management of the resources that you already have. Start small and then work your way up. Always start by being honest and building a good character as well as integrity. Conserve. Stop and think. Do not live above your means. Remember King Jesus fed five thousand with two fish and five loaves of bread. And they took up twelve baskets full of fragments and of the fish. If you haven't noticed, King Jesus isn't wasteful.
