Are You Truly Passionate About Who You Are?
Allow me to share this with you. Most people have an interest in their future, but they truly lack the desire to fulfill what they truly desire to accomplish in this life. Yet, those who have discovered their purpose, formulated deep convictions, and captured their vision in what I call their mind's eye, will have natural enthusiasm and energy. Remember, hard work and diligence are always involved in carrying out one's purpose; but they can be difficult to maintain without internal motivation. Passion provides that motivation.
When you truly believe in your purpose, there will be a strong passion that will motivate you to achieve any goal that you set out to accomplish. That fire will burn inside of you. It will be the driving force. Dr. Munroe was very passionate concerning teaching the Kingdom. That passion has spread to many others to preach and teach the Kingdom of God; especially myself! It is the foundation of my new existence.
It is a man or woman's sense of significance that helps a true leader to protect his or her passion from degenerating into mere hunger for power. Tragically, there are leaders in our world who seem to have no trouble killing, manipulating, hurting, using or otherwise sinning in the name of some religious group, in order to achieve their end. But they are not willing to die for something noble. In contrast, the passion associated with true leadership comes from a personal commitment to sacrifice oneself to fulfill one's purpose; even to the point one would be willing to die for it.
Loving God's Word for what it is,, is the foundation for passion. King Jesus put it this way: "...You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind".
Now that is true passion. True passion prioritizes your purpose King Jesus stated it this way: For where your treasure is, there you heart will be also.
Matthew 22:37 Matthew 6:21
