Personal Authority and Its Value
Remember the Creator gave you personal authority according to order, purpose and creativity.
The concept of personal authority is referred to in various ways in the constitution of God; with some variations in terms, depending on the translation--"call" or "calling", "will of God", "appointed", "ordained", "gift", "work", "ability", and "assigned task". These words reveal aspects of the meaning of personal authority.
For example, Jesus told the parable of the nobleman to receive His Kingdom. Therefore He said: "A certain nobleman went in to a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return. So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas and said to them, "Do business til I come". If you take time to seek the Kingdom, you will notice that Jesus the King was referring to Himself. Now, this next scripture describes this world system to this present day. But his citizens hated him, and sent a delegation after him saying, "We will not have this man to reign over us"
Now the Greek word for "ability" is "dunamus", meaning "miraculous power" or "force". This word implies that each servant had certain inherent capabilities to make something of the entrusted to him; and that with those capabilities come a responsibility to exercise them. You as well have capabilities and are entrusted with a personal authority to carry them out on behalf of your Creator.
Embrace your gifts and talents. Stay in the Word and it will always glorify your Creator and you will have good success.
Luke 19:12-13
