Remember, character is definitely formed by applied pressure. The purpose of pressure is to rid those things that cause you to be defiant to the commands of the King. We do not grow and mature in the easy times. It is only when trials and pressure are applied, that our character is molded into a vessel God can use. It's just part of the process.
...through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. ~~Romans 5:2-4
