Management of Your Tests and Trials
Kingdom citizens see tests and trials as exercising their faith in God's Word. When you accept God's management mandates for yourself, you will be tested on many levels. There is no exception. Paul the ambassador of the Kingdom of God, made this statement to the infant church, the Thessalonian church: "But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts." I want you to notice, they were approved by God. Not everyone is approved to represent the Kingdom. (Some individuals God called, some God sent, and some just got up and went)
There are many that don't know how to manage trials and tests that come in their lives, and before them. James another representative of the King stated it this way "Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience" The question is, where does the testing come from? Sometimes we can tell that the tests have come directly from God. Sometimes they have been caused by other individuals. Sometimes they seem to come through crisis-ridden circumstances. But always, regardless of who is responsible, the tests come with the permission of the Lord God. Sometimes it seems to come straight from the evil one, but King Jesus stands ready to assist us every minute.
Here is something that you should know: Management testing comes with a price. Paying the price means passing the test, and all tests aren't alike. You may have to shed some of your pride. You may have to pay a heavy price of time investment. You may lose money instead of gaining it. There is another representative of the Kingdom by the name of John who had suffered throughout his adult life for the Gospel of the Kingdom. He wrote a prophetic message to his fellow citizens from the island of Patmos, to which he had been exiled. "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death and I will give you the crown of life." These are the direct Words from King Jesus. The words from our King are permanent. God will always keep His Word. So don't sweat the small stuff.
