Your Personal Authority is Characterized by Humility
Permit me to share with you this simple fact: when you know what you were born to do and you understand your true authority, you are humble. Now the word "humble" comes from the Latin word "humus", which means "earth". This brings us full circle to the principle that authority is natural. Keep this in mind, to be humble simply means to be yourself.
Where are you in terms of personal authority in your life? Until you understand your authority, you are probably doing something unauthorized. What do I mean by that? "You are not doing what you are gifted or born to do". That is why I want you to truly understand the priority, value, benefits, and necessity of identifying and exercising your inherent authority.
Remember, you have an Author or Source who has given you life and definitely a purpose; so you need to seriously, actively and persistently ask yourself, "What is my natural personal authority? What am I authorized to do?" God the Creator has given you talents and gifts for you to use. And to one he gave five talents, to another two and to another, one; to each his own ability and immediately he went on a journey."
Upon Christ's return we will have to give an account of our time, gifts and talents. So make good use of them while you are alive on this planet, for we will have to give an account. "And so it was that when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading." So we have to get busy using what the Father has given.
