Being Fearful In the Midst of Crisis
Is this statement a description of yourself in the time of chaos? When you totally trust in King Jesus, there is no room for fear. Just to remind you, fear and faith can't occupy the same space at the same time. Either you have faith in His words or not.Just like fire and water can't occupy the same space at the same time, so it is with faith and fear. When you totally trust in your Creator and Source, you can repeat these words: The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? These are words of a man who was a King. He was always in some kind of battle, but always trusted in the Lord and Creator.
Being fearful makes people respond in a knee-jerk fashion to a crisis, and they may set up a cycle of negative consequences, such as: abuse (physical, psychological and verbal), crime, domestic violence and substance abuse. Think about it. These reactions set people up for further crimes. You probably have known someone with these reactions.
When you exhibit fear in your life, you show a lack of faith in God's work or a lack of knowledge in God's Word, and in some cases, both. Crisis will always come, but to a man or woman that totally trusts in the King's Word, they have no fear. He is a guidance to all citizens of the Kingdom. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. If you truly trust in someone, then you have confidence in what they say or do, regardless of what others may say.
Remember what God stated in His Constitution: Every Word of God is pure. He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. Now that God the Father has sent His Son, our trust is to be put in Him. We are to honor the Son. that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. These are the Words of King Jesus.
