A True Leader
There are many leaders in this world. Are you in a leadership position? Do you think of yourself as a true leader? Take an evaluation of yourself. Allow the Word of God be your foundation on the way you think and conduct yourself as a true leader. Keep in mind, that leadership is the capacity to influence others through inspiration motivated by a passion, generated by a vision, produced by a conviction and ignited by a purpose.
Jesus our King was and is that perfect example of a leader. Jesus was determined to complete His purpose that His Father God had laid out for Him, Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. Now this is a true leader that loves us with passion. He took up a body to experience all the pain and grief that we should have experienced; to bring us in right standing with Him once we accept Him and His message.
Do you remember how Jesus responded to the devil in the wilderness? He did it by quoting God's principles and laws. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.” But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” Once again King Jesus makes it plain; it is the Word that we must live by. Food is for the body, but His Word is for the spirit man. By the way, the King's Word is our real source of food. Keep in mind, Jesus' response to all three temptations was to quote the Word of God; showing us His ambassadors and representatives the power of the Word of His Father. You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him and shall take oaths in His name". True leaders speak the Word of God, for they know there is power in His Word. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, an those who love it will eat its fruit".
