Be Holy, Honor Your Marriage
I want to share with you this thought: Being a minister of the Kingdom Gospel, I cannot officiate any wedding that one of the parties have accepted Christ the King as their Savior and the other has not. Now the question is, why? Because God's Constitution states this: Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness. And what communion has light with darkness.
If two unbelievers are already married and one of them gives their heart to the King (Jesus the Christ) that is truly a different situation. Now Paul the Apostle covers this in the Constitution in I Corinthians: For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband; otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. Now, for you brothers and sisters that have an unbelieving spouse that wants to leave the marriage and side with a divorce; don't try to stop them and remain miserable. Let them go, you will not be held responsible by the King (Jesus the Christ). For God is not a God of chaos, but of peace. But if the unbeliever departs, let him depart; a brother or sister is not under bondage in such cases. But God has called us to peace. Now for those of you who are remorseful over your marriage and the fact that they wanted to leave or that they have left you; take comfort in these Words and stay in God's Word. For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save your wife?
Now cut those thoughts of your past loose and get on with your life in the Kingdom world. God's Word should always be first and foremost in your life. For it is through His Word that you exist. His Word will give you the strength to go through the times of chaos, as well as give you peace.
