The King Gave You Purpose
The King has an assignment for your life. But you first have to knuckle under God's Word. I want to re-emphasize that you are not an accident. You are not a mistake. You came to this planet called earth because of your destiny, God's ultimate intent for your life. Now destiny refers to the ultimate reason for your creation. The King wants us to totally give ourselves to Him. Read what His Constitution states: "Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established". A wise person commits their plans to the king. But a person whose plan's oppose the King, may actually become God's enemy. The person whose ways are from the Lord will certainly succeed. Read what King Solomon stated in God's Constitution: "The preparations of the heart belong to man, but the anger of the tongue is from the Lord. A man's heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps".
The verb commit to is from a word meaning "to roll". The idea is to "roll your cares onto the Lord". Trusting the Lord with our every decision frees us from pre-occupation with our problems. Read: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understand; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths".
Keep in mind, the Lord requires your total trust in His Word. God and His Word are one.
