Change is Always Present
If there is one thing that is constant, that is change. Regardless of what is going on, change is taking place. If you have a problem with that statement, just take a look in the mirror.
As I view the internet and listen to the radio, I hear of chaos and people dying all around the world in other countries as well as here in this country. But I am not worried concerning my life, because the King stated that all these things must be. Some people might call this approach unrealistic, but God's view it is mature, if it is based on trusting in Him. Besides I didn't say that I wasn't concerned. I stated that I wasn't worried. Jesus trusted His Father's Words, that He was able to sleep through a storm.
“Let us cross over to the other side.”... And a great windstorm arose, and the waves beat into the boat, so that it was already filling. 38 But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. If you may or may not have noticed, Jesus didn't "sweat the small stuff". Why? Because His Father's Words were this: "All authority and power was given to Him by His Father". Jesus trusted in His father's Word. That is our responsibility.
For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. Remember, Jesus slept through the storm, but when He was awakened by his disciples, He spoke to the storm by using His faith.
Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm.
Read, study and build your faith through the Word of the living God.
