Losing the Word
Many of us hear the Word of the Kingdom but allow other religious messages to take over our thinking. What we hear is like food to our mind. We have to be very careful of what we hear, and how it affects our thinking. Our mind is crowded with other things that is non-productive. Then we fail to grow in line with the kingdom mindset. The Kingdom mindset is when we hear the Word of God's Constitution (Bible), we embrace it and obey what we have heard. Do you remember what Christ stated?
But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
The good are those who are ready to receive, and who are truly seeking the Kingdom, not a religious feel-good feeling. These are the ones who understand the Word that the King speaks.
But there are those who hear the Word, and get happy and rely on a feeling. Those are the ones who fail to read and study the Word. Here is what the King has to say about that:
When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.
We should never allow the music in our churches to become entertainment. These are the things that are stealing the Word and replacing them with feel-good feelings, disguised as praise.
The Word of God isn't a feeling, it's our livelihood. It is how we live.
(Matthew 13:23)
(Matthew 13:19)
