Culture, What It Is Pt 2
Allow me to give you a scientific definition of the word culture: to grow in a prepared medium. In this growth medium is also where we learned our prejudices and our hatreds, our jealousy and our greed, as well as our pride. Then one day we discovered the Kingdom of Heaven. We were born again (a new birth) and became citizens of the Kingdom of God (God's Kingdom government). That is where the challenge really began. After spending ten to fifty years in a certain medium, that trained us to think and behave a certain way, we suddenly find ourselves in a whole new different culture; a new growth medium, with a whole lot of new things to learn and a whole lot of things that we have to be detoxed from. I should say, disable it from our thinking process. Therein lies the problem: How do we get rid of that old culture in our hearts and minds to live in the new one? That is the universal challenge for every dual citizenship believer. The answer to that question, is submit yourself to the King's Word. I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
Here is a thought that you must keep in mind. This culture is also what lies at the very center of the great cosmic conflict between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, and earth is the battleground. The battle for earth is the battle for culture. Culture is the manifestation of the collective thinking of a people. In essence, whatever the people as a whole think collectively--their beliefs, values, ideals, etc--become their culture. Whatever controls the minds of the people controls the culture. In fact, whoever controls the minds will create the culture.
In the Kingdom Constitution it states: For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you. This is stating that the way we think will determine who we will become. In this context, the heart is the mind. And the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of the heart. Therefore, the King of Heaven is battling for the minds of the creatures He created in His own image.
This is why it is so important to study God's Constitution all the time. The representative Paul (ambassador) told his young apprentice to study: Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
My final words to you are to stay in a Kingdom (not religious) environment. If you can't find one, then create one. Remember, greater is He that is in you, than he who is in the world.
Romans 12:1-2 Proverbs 23:7 II Timothy 2:15
