Authorized Power
What do I mean by “authorized power”? It is the power that our Governor gives to an individual to operate in all the attributes and benefits of the Kingdom of God. As citizens of His Kingdom, we never need to depend on mankind to heal our people or provide for our needs. That responsibility is our King’s responsibility. He is the one who created and saved us. Some say that the Lord God heals us through the physician’s hands and skills. But my question to that is, does the Lord God need assistance from any man to heal? He is God all by Himself. He created us! All that the Lord God requires from you is to put all of your faith in Him. King Jesus made that statement concerning faith on many occasions. But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour. . . And when He had come into the house, the blind men came to Him. And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”. . . Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.” Matthew 9:22, 28-29; 15:28 If you totally believe and have faith in King Jesus you will be delivered for the Lord God’s purpose for you.
But a lack of faith will definitely keep you from receiving your healing and forgiveness from your King. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:17-18
Remember, the disciples failed to truly trust and have faith in King Jesus while He was here on earth. He made that plain to them: And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”
Then Jesus answered and said, “O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:14-20
I will also remind you that you cannot receive the Holy Spirit unless you love and obey His Word. King Jesus said, “If you love Me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. John 14:15-17a NLT
If you live by the world’s standard, it is impossible to please the Lord God. . .
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:5-8
It is very important to have the Holy Spirit—Our Governor—living in you. Why? Because that same Spirit that took our Lord and King back to His Father will take you up as well. Ambassador Paul made this statement to the Kingdom citizens at Rome: But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 By the way, if you have the Governor living in you, your body is dead because of sin. And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Romans 8:10
These Words of King Jesus say it all: “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in Me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask for anything in My name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it!
“If you love me, obey My commandments. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it isn’t looking for Him and doesn’t recognize Him. But you know Him, because He lives with you now and later will be in you." John 14:12-17 NLT
I want you to live an abundant life in the Kingdom of God with all the power and authority that is available to its citizens! It is all for His glory!
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him. Philippians 2:13 NLT
Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20 NLT
Remember, your greatest asset is your faith in His Word.
