Read what the ambassador Paul stated when there was division in the Church. After all, who is Apollos? Who is Paul? We are only God’s servants through whom you believed the Good News. Each of us did the work the Lord gave us. I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow. It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow. The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work. For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.
Remember that we as fathers must stay in the Lord God's Constitution to know how to teach our children to develop into what the Lord wants them to become. We must instruct them in the Lord's principles, leading them to Kingdom standards. Principles are the results of being obedient to the King's laws and commands.
Once again, in order for one to truly understand, one must go back to the beginning. As husbands and fathers, we are to take the time to teach our wives the Kingdom principles and in turn they are to teach the children also. Fathers and mothers should always be on the same page--"a united front". I realize there are so many one parent families where often there is no father in the family. I counted myself among that group as I was growing up. My mother taught me Kingdom principles even though it was from a religious viewpoint. It is God's Word that preserves us from this world system. It is very important that we stay in fellowship with the Kingdom and our heavenly Father.
Part of the development process is to always be thankful regardless of your situation. In the midst of your situation, focus on being thankful. I always thank my God for you and for the gracious gifts He has given you, now that you belong to Christ Jesus. Through Him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge. This confirms that what I told you about Christ is true. Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. God will do this, for He is faithful to do what He says, and He has invited you into partnership with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
The Lord God is our perfect example of a loving Father. Now, like our Heavenly Father, an earthly father develops his wife and children just as I stated earlier. He takes the time to plan their growth in every aspect of their lives--physically, intellectually, emotionally and especially spiritually. Note that I did not say "controls" every aspect of their lives. There is a difference! It is the difference between preparing a delicious, nutritious meal and presenting it to the family or force-feeding the family and shoving it down their throats. One is done with love, the other is dictatorial with power and control being the motivation. Most of this world system does not understand the role and importance of a father. The man has a specific role in which the Lord God created in him and for him. So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. While the man slept, the Lord God took out one of the man’s ribs and closed up the opening. Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib, and He brought her to the man. “At last!” the man exclaimed. “This one is bone from my bone,
and flesh from my flesh! She will be called ‘woman,’ because she was taken from ‘man.’”
This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one. Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.
Notice verse 25: Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame. They were naked and felt no shame,. That is because sin or disobedience to the Lord God's Word didn't yet exist. In other words, it was a perfect, sinless world. If you allow the Governor (the Holy Spirit) to govern (lead, develop and guide) you, He will develop you to be a productive child and citizen in His plan. The Lord Jesus addressed this issue of development very specifically: When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in His love. If you want to fully develop as a child of the King, you must learn to obey His command which will lead to developing Kingdom principles.
Remember, your faith in His Word is your greatest asset in the Kingdom!
